PV Powered Gains UL Listing on 1800W and 2800W Utility Interactive Inverters
Bend, Oregon - April 7, 2004

Oregon based PV Powered announced today that it received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 1741 Listing for the StarInverter PVP1800 and PVP2800, 1800 Watt and 2800 Watt utility interactive inverters. These state-of-the-art inverters join the previously released StarInverter PVP1100, an 1100-Watt inverter, which received UL listing in early Fall of 2003.

"This is a very exciting time for PV Powered. The PVP1100 was very well received and we've seen even greater amount of enthusiasm and anticipation surrounding the release of our PVP1800 and PVP2800," said Bill Taylor, President and CEO of PV Powered.

The PV Powered StarInverter product line delivers industry leading efficiency, reliability and ease of use. Based on revolutionary architecture, all three inverters within the StarInverter family utilize the lowest parts count of any UL listed inverter on the market, have no thermal fold back and therefore require no fan. "We have taken photovoltaic inverter technology to the next level," states Taylor. "Our inverters perform remarkably well and will easily adapt to future technological innovations in this field."

Both the StarInverter PVP1800 and PVP2800 comes standard with a vacuum fluorescent display that shows operational data pertaining to the inverter such as current array input, power output, and greenhouse gases saved. These inverters also ship standard with the PVP Command Center, a windows based software program. The software provides real-time data, tracking and monitoring capabilities via home PC or the web. As with the PVP1100, the PVP1800 and PVP2800 include an unmatched 10-year warranty.
